My offer is with contents on 'as is where is basis' on the date of sale. However, it must be noted that Sedo offers domain names appraisals but not project appraisals.
I would like to conclude the sale and transfer at the earliest. I would prefer to transfer the domain, its contents and hosts, lock, stock and barrel, before that. However, if some are interested in the name only and not the contents, they can get touch with me.
When I started out, the objective was to promote MMG and its business interests. However, over time it has become a publishing business of its own. What started as a hobby has become a full time job and I do not have the time to devote to both management consultancy and publishing. I am not able to delegate the responsibility to anyone because it adds to costs, which we cannot afford. This is a common problem of all small and medium scale enterprises. Building global brands needs a lot of money. However, I am happy to note that I have built, single-handedly, both Madgopes.com and MMG, as global brands, albeit very small ones. Brand Personality and Brand Character cannot be easily measured in terms of money. They can only be estimated. Madgopes.com is built on Ethics, Integrity, Principles and Values. Without sounding arrogant or conceited, on all these values both brands will score 100/100. In a world where making money, by any and all means is the only objective of many, these values are extremely rare. Both the buyer and seller will have to arrive at a mutually acceptable figure. The negotiations can be done directly or through Sedo, by those who wish to retain anonymity. I do not have the financial resources to build it any further. As a result, I feel it is better to exit and give it to someone who knows the advertising, publishing and media business well, with the hope the brand core values are maintained.
