Brief History
When we decided to
start our Management Consultancy business in November
1997, we realized the immense potential and power of
internet in creating awareness. Internet is one more
media option available like Print and TV. It was
important that we establish our reputation at a global
level, even though our market was not. One need not be
big but one needs to be considered among the very best
in any business. The problem was how to create an
awareness about us at lowest costs and internet was the
only media that met the criterion. We did not know a
thing about internet and related technologies at that
time but we learn fast and how ? After hosting with various service providers, we have
finally moved over to our own virtual private server
provider based in Houston, Texas, USA in July 2007. It has
been a long learning curve. Thank you God.

We
are happy to inform that our Madhavan had received
an invitation, dated September 14, 2001 after being
nominated, from Boston, Massachusetts, USA based
"Who's Who Historical Society" to
be listed in their 2001-2002 edition of
International Who's Who of professionals. A part of
their invitation is reproduced below:
"This
is the definitive work on the world's leaders in
commerce, economics, policy and trade. Being nominated
is an honor in itself. This society was founded in
1928 and lists professionals whose contributions shape
and direct the destiny of nations"

- On November 25,
2003, we had a request for a contribution of an
article on the subject of "Performance
Management Systems" from a senior faculty
member of the Institute of Chartered Financial
Analysts of India (ICFAI), Hyderabad, India. ICFAI
University, is a non profit organization engaged in
education, training and research in areas of finance
and management. ICFAI is ranked 1st among all
private business schools and 12th rank, overall in
India. It is ranked 4th in Intellectual Capital.
These details are as in the year 2004 and taken from
various publications including their web site.
They compile
articles written by accomplished academicians from
prestigious universities, from various international
publications and websites like World Trade Magazine,
McKinsey Quarterly, Pricewaterhouse Coopers,
Federal Reserve, SEC, Insight Japan, Business
Finance Magazine etc., written by experts and
publish them in their executive reference books. For
small people like us it is an honor even to be
noticed, leave alone to be approached for
contribution of articles along with such highly
regarded global giants. The article is titled "Performance
Management Systems". We thought it fit to
share this article with other readers and have
published it in our domain for global readership as
our editorial in the first weekend of December,
2003.

Outgoing
business and commercial correspondence under any of
Madgopes.com IDs have been stopped from June 2004.
However, incoming e-mail is not barred.
- We have redesigned
our banner with effect from December 2006. There are
two versions. One is static and other dynamic. The
main static version has an 'Ocean' background. It is
symbolic. We are in the knowledge business.
The world of knowledge is symbolized by an ocean and
we are one of the drops in it.

would like to reiterate that
all our pages are covered by
US, Indian Copyright
& IP Laws and governed by the
Berne Convention on
Copyrights in
countries that are
signatories to it. All our
web and mail servers are based in USA. Instances
have come to our notice that
some people are using our
pages, their portions and
images without permission
and it is a copyright
violation. This is similar
to stealing a newspaper from
a newsstand. This does not apply
to brief quotes as permitted
under the US Copyright Act
of 1976 (sections 107 and/or
108) and subsequent
amendments, if any. However,
this exception does not
cover images. We have never
denied permission
to anyone for personal and non commercial
use. Any unauthorized
use will entail legal action
by us and consequences of
not taking permission can
turn out to be very
expensive. This may please
be taken as a friendly
warning, as Copyright and IPR
violations are taken very
seriously by the legal
systems in all countries that
have signed the convention.

In July 2007, we
had removed all forms from our web sites as spammers
were misusing them. We are pleased to inform that we
have identified an excellent service provider www.emailmeform.com,
who offers such services and which are spam
resistant. We
have introduced the same for our various
requirements from July 04, 2008.

This is to inform
all readers that all the original free articles are
being transferred to MMG Communications' site with effect
from December 01, 2008.

Articles are invited from authors for publishing at MMG Communications site. They can be on any subject and we will categorize them under appropriate categories and publish them. All articles will be subjected to our editorial policy. The articles must be originals and should not contain any copyrighted materials. However, brief references are permitted as per US Copyright Act. MMG Communications reserves its rights to accept or edit or reject any such articles. The articles may be sent to:

Madgopes.Com is now
a fully pay for access site. The
management articles at MMG Communications
site are available for free global public access but
free
membership is necessary. This domain will also publish articles
written by other approved authors for free global
public access. This free service will be ad
supported.

Except for a few
guest articles written upon specific request, our
Madhavan's articles will not appear in any other
sites. This is a major policy decision taken by MMG's
Management Committee recently. As a result, we had requested Evan Carmichael.Com to remove his name
from the list of approved authors and
articles on September 01, 2009.

This is to inform
all visitors that search engines are barred from
searching our site. However, we post brief clippings
of various free and 'pay for access' articles at the
author's blog which has no such restrictions. We
have completed postings of clippings of all free and
'pay for access' articles, as on date, at the blog.

The free management
article of the week is published on Wednesdays and
is available at URL http://mmgcommunications.info/authors/articleoftheweek.html.
Similarly, the free weekly business news summary is
published at URL http://mmgcommunications.info/newssummary.html.
We have stopped informing free members with effect
from last week of October 2009, but they can
bookmark the above URLs to access the pages
anytime.

The free management article of the week for global access will not be available with effect from December 17, 2009 for operational reasons. The restricted folders will be available to registered members only. Members will receive communications from us, as and when new articles are published in various restricted folders. We stopped informing non members about it from November 2009.
